Federal Authorities Raid Diddy’s Properties Amid Sex Trafficking Investigation

On Monday afternoon, Homeland Security Investigations conducted raids at two properties owned by hip hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation. The raids, which took place at Diddy’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles, were not attended by Diddy himself.

Reports from ABC LA revealed that the raids were connected to a federal investigation into sex trafficking in New York. Despite Diddy’s absence, footage from the scene showed numerous agents, including local law enforcement, conducting searches at his Los Angeles residence in Holmby Hills. Two individuals were detained during the search, later identified as Diddy’s sons.

In response to inquiries, the Department of Homeland Security issued a statement confirming their involvement in the ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles and HSI Miami, along with local law enforcement partners. Further details about the nature of the investigation were not immediately disclosed.

Shortly after the raids, TMZ released footage of Diddy at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport, where he was seen boarding a private jet before being approached by federal agents. However, Diddy was not subjected to arrest during the encounter.

The raids come amidst a backdrop of recent sexual assault lawsuits filed against Diddy. Last November, the 54-year-old settled a case with his former protege and girlfriend, Cassie, who accused him of years of alleged sexual abuse. These developments add complexity to an already challenging legal situation for the music industry icon.
