Quando Rondo claims he has no memory of the night of King Von’s murder
Quando Rondo, the controversial rapper from Georgia, recently sat down with SayCheezeTV for an exclusive interview promoting his newly released album “Recovery”. The interview has since sparked controversy and gone viral on social media.
In November 2020, Chicago rapper King Von was killed in a reported altercation with Quando Rondo’s entourage in a nightclub parking lot in Atlanta. When asked about the night of the incident, Rondo dodged the question, stating that he did not remember what happened. “That was so long ago. I don’t even remember two months ago,” he said, adding that he only remembers things that will make him and his family look good, such as the latest designer clothes and new season of shoes.
In another clip from the interview, Rondo was asked if his life had changed after the incident and if people in the industry treated him differently. He responded by calling his friends in the middle of the conversation and said, “These are my biggest fans, they love my music. They’re the only people I care about and listen to. The last time I recall my music doing official is in the block.”
The interview has drawn criticism from fans and other members of the hip-hop community, who have accused Rondo of being insensitive and callous towards King Von’s death. Some have also called for a boycott of Rondo’s music, while others have defended him and say that he has the right to move on and promote his new album.
Regardless of the controversy, Rondo’s new album “Recovery” was released on April 2, 2023. The album features collaborations with several notable artists, including Lil Durk, Polo G, and Lil Tjay, among others. It remains to be seen how the album will be received by fans and critics in light of the recent controversy surrounding Rondo.
