Cardi B and Offset Drop Explosive Collaboration ‘Jealousy’ with Powerful Cameo from Taraji P. Henson

Cardi B and Offset have once again teamed up for an explosive collaboration titled “Jealousy,” whose music video features a cameo appearance from Taraji P. Henson. The track samples Three 6 Mafia’s “Jealous Ass Bitches” and was released on Friday, July 28. The song sees the couple taking turns and firing shots at their envious adversaries, showcasing their chemistry both on and off the mic.

For Offset, “Jealousy” marks his third release of 2023, following “2 Live” with Hit-Boy and “TBS” with R-Mean and Scott Storch. In an interview with Variety back in May, he revealed some details about his upcoming album, mentioning that it will include features from Cardi B, Travis Scott, Future, Chloe Bailey, Latto, and the late TakeOff, who was his fallen comrade.

However, discussing TakeOff during the interview proved to be extremely difficult for Offset, and he expressed how hard it is for him to talk about the loss. He revealed that he has never spoken about this subject seriously before and that discussing it brings immense pain. Offset was unable to continue the conversation, cutting it off because of the emotional toll it was taking on him. He explained that some things he keeps to himself and that it feels unreal to talk about his late friend since TakeOff is no longer here.
