6LACK Drops New Songs “Homicide” and “Mean It”

6LACK has returned with new music, dropping a pair of songs that showcase his signature blend of R&B and hip-hop. The two tracks include a collaboration with Jessie Reyez titled “Homicide” and a solo offering titled “Mean It.” This marks the third collaboration between 6LACK and Jessie Reyez, following their previous tracks “Forever” and “Imported.”

In “Homicide,” Jessie Reyez delivers soulful vocals, singing lyrics that touch on the complexities of love and relationships. She sings, “A whole lotta people don’t wanna admit that is more fun to love with somebody who’s toxic / Find out that your ex lives close, so I’m tryna f–k you with the windows open / Love it when your jealousy shows a little / Love it when you check my phone and give me some sh-t, then you give me some d–k.”

“Mean It” is a solo effort from 6LACK and showcases his introspective and emotive style. The song reflects on the challenges and ups and downs of love and commitment.

These new releases mark 6LACK’s return to the music scene after his most recent album, “Since I Have A Lover.” He is set to kick off a supporting tour for the album on October 1st in Portland, with tour dates spanning North America and Europe, concluding in Oslo, Norway, on March 3rd.
