50 Cent Hit his First Ever 1 Billion Streams On Spotify With His Track “In Da Club”

50 cent’s “In Da Club” has now surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify. It’s reportedly to be his first song to reach this milestone.

“In da Club” by rapper 50 Cent from his debut studio album Get Rich or Die Tryin was released in 2003, after Slim Shady introduced 50 to the iconic producer in 2002 Dr. DRE.

The New York City rapper then signed a joint contract with Eminem’s Shady Records label, and Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment.

“In da Club” was once performed; at the 46th Grammy Awards, it was also nominated for Best Male Rap Solo Performance and Best Rap Song.

The accompanying music video for “In da Club” won Best Rap Video and Best New Artist at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.

In 2009, the song was listed at number 24 in Billboards Hot 100 Songs of the Decade.   It was performed by 50 Cent in the Super Bowl LVI halftime show on February 13, 2022.
